Race the Sun delivers compelling gameplay, pleasant visuals and just enough content variety to warrant revisiting it and chasing down high-scores.
The difficulty ramps up nicely as well, so that death, which comes to us all, may always be delayed a bit longer.
Accompanied by a subtle electronic soundtrack that pulses in sync with the game’s momentum, the presentation achieves a meditative quality that makes every run feel like both a race and a ritual.
Runs amazing on Linux, tho Dualshock 3 controller doesn't seem to work, even after adjusting the in-game settings (it does work in SuperTuxKart and steam controller test.) The game uses extremely little system resources (It runs amazing in 1080p on a ThinkPad L420 (!!), which has an (4) i5-2450M CPU and 2nd gen integrated graphics and 4gb ram).
