It has survival, crafting, base building and research gameplay elements supporting a story, which I finished in about 37 hours which is a solid amount of entertainment for the price.
A late-game exciting story moment is a fade-to-black with dialogue laid on top.
Exploring was interesting, I found completing goals satisfying, and I really loved the characters/voice acting.
Also worth noting there is a lot of settings/options enabling you to custom tailor what kind of experience fits best for, changing survival settings, inventory restrictions, difficulty options etc.
The music is actually ridiculous how good/catchy so many of the songs are and it’s executed a beautiful low-poly art style.
tl;dr: Non-combat dungeon delver with a reasonably-enjoyable gameplay loop, good voice acting, and a mediocre plot. 5/7, but just barely on the edge of a 4/7.
