What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This has full COOP support as well as Singleplayer capabilities, something that Monstrum missed out on, opting into either one or the other for the 1st and 2nd game respectively.
Another welcome addition in my book is some limited (at the time) character customisation.
The graphics are modernised and perhaps it's not something that will blow your socks off but for the most part I thought the game looked solid, with 2 minor exceptions:
very much inspired by monstrum but its multiplayer and i am ALL for it.
Performance has been very good, maybe a micro stutter when loading in a huge area.
Audible character breathing and heartbeat sound effects whenever your in imminent danger lend more to the feel of actually being trapped in an isolated facility trying to avoid a looming threat.
