What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
-Almost unlimited replayability (Almost everything you can think of doing is possible, Fascist America is always fun. Making Sweden conquer all of Europe is equally fun.) -Learning curve is brutal and unforgiving but is very rewarding to master.
The learning curve is pretty steep and the gameplay mechanics are quite complex so it can be an intimidating and frustrating experience, but it ultimately is very gratifying once you start getting the hang of it.
Mods can significantly enhance the game’s AI, UI, economic systems, and combat mechanics, often addressing long-standing complaints while introducing new challenges and layers of immersion.
6/10 Unit graphics are good, counters are easy to read, most map modes are good, but the terrain one is bad.... its a grand strategy, it doesn't matter anyways.
