What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
AI difficulty can be tweaked, numbers can be adjusted, and the sheer number of races split over 3 different ages (each has an iteration in one of 3 time periods, evolving to meet the slow loss of magical presence in the world), make for a game that has endless replayability and is quite accessible.
For me it was interesting enough to play on medium difficulty, of course AI can not be compared with human, but he actively resists, collects armies and punishes player for mistakes.
4)4X style game that allows for massive multiplayer engagements without feeling cumbersome.
The combat is detailed to the point that each unit not only has specified methods of attack, but does particular types of damage too.
Settings were for a long enjoyable coop game against the AI, with story events, conquest all, clustered spawns, and common random events.
Sound - Ambient Harmony (7.5/10): The soundtrack sets the mood for your divine conquests, underlining the game's atmosphere without being intrusive.
