What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The graphics are extremely simple and the gameplay makes you focus on what you're experiencing rather than what you're seeing.
This is one of the most in-depth character customization and class fantasy fulfilling games I've played.
It's honestly one of the best roguelikes I've played with plenty of changes to difficulty to suit your wishes.
The depth of the gameplay and amount of content on offer for the price renders any concerns about the graphics null and void, in my albeit aging and nostalgia-saturated opinion.
The combat is quite entertaining when you got to engage with it, you apply shields/heals/buffs to yourself while debuffing the enemy and going ham on them.
Roguelike mode makes every death meaningful, and each run feels fresh with new story elements, builds, challenges, and discoveries.
