Also, the ending of this game is some pretty typical philosophical stuff, but I'd say it's still sweet and does its job well.
There's also always new gimmicks and enemies in the levels to vary up the gameplay even more.
The adorable art style and instantly iconic music make it an easy recommendation if you're looking for a small, cute game you can finish in a few hours.
The use of FM synth in the soundtrack is masterfully done, as well.
The game also has a solid difficulty curve and fun boss fights with a lot of opportunities to improve your clear times.
