At its core, a rich, engaging story involving voodoo, occult & sacrifice in New Orleans.
Although the voice acting is top notch, Gabriel's voice did grind at me (along with Gabriel's unlikable persona) for the first 2-3 days (in-game episodes).
Visuals have been redrawn in high resolution, offering more detailed environments and character models that feel cleaner and more readable on modern screens.
It plays well and the changes made seem logical, balancing out the gameplay & story arcs.
Interface was clear & functional and there is a limited hint system.
Being a point&click adventure game, anyone who is familiar with the genre will have no difficulty playing the game and all newcomers are welcome thanks to the gentle learning curve.
