What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There are a significant number of weapons to choose from but they need to be unlocked first by completing levels in quest mode.
A very fun classic top-down shooter with a simple gameplay loop and variety of guns, perks, and game modes that runs perfectly on the Steam Deck.
Local co-op makes the chaos even better, although sharing limited weapon drops can quickly reveal which of your friends cannot be trusted.
Crimsonland has a top-down view and decent graphics, other than being a pretty old game at this point it really doesn't need anything more than what it is.
Plays perfectly on my Steam Deck, both in hand held mode and in docked mode using an Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller connected via Bluetooth.
New version is also cool, the multiplayer mode is very fun with friends.
