What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Because of the variety of playstyles offered by the characters, the only way you will hit a runt is by only playing one character and one deck.
Combat does strong at first, in particular in the challenge area, and yet the game is still fair.
The character design is very good and each champion has its strenghs and weaknesses that make the game way more varied
The difficulty is hard but fair as you eventually learn what the modifiers do and start to unlock more cards to add to your deck.
Good sound design and solid, if somewhat silly voice acting ensure that you'll always be suitably entertained, and whilst the graphics aren't going to blow you away, on a good rig they're decently pretty and they run at a smooth rate.
And also you could play with friends in Co-op (which you can't in SHOWDOWN).
