Plus it brings one novelty mechanic that I havent seen anywhere else: the reaction mechanic.
So the combat is good, it's a pretty cool tactical RPG in that regard.
The story has me hooked, the illustrations are mesmerizing, and there's a real sense of intrigue that keeps pulling me forward.
Because of this you basically never get OP runs and the difficulty (which takes a while to come online) is very consistent which I actually like.
Each of the 4 characters feel distinct, having 3 classes to choose from (2 are unlockable at first).
It has beautiful graphics, a strong dark-fantasy atmosphere, and a visually impressive world that immediately pulls you in.
