Speaking of the story, I thoroughly enjoyed the story this time around as well!
Pretty much everything I liked about previous title is still here, solid gameplay with decent head-scratches of puzzles/investigation work, great humour, charming artstyle especially when it comes to paper cutout characters, smooth jazz soundtrack and fantastic voice acting.
Fun, intuitive gameplay with really cute character design and a charming art style.
I did love the art direction; since it’s spooky, there’s a lot of night shots and a lot of mood lighting.
There are two different difficulty modes, but even the more difficult of the two is very forgiving.
It's mostly carried by the comic dialogue and character design, and that kind of thing is done better in Frog Detective or Tangled Tower.
