I really enjoyed the battle-style aspect to it and I love the art style of this game.
I think this is a beautiful title, been waiting ages for release, played the demo for like 2 months, loved it then, although it does need a rebalance, i expect we will have some quality of life update in the future, ignore any reviews expressing anger towards the current problems, updates will be coming, its a great game, really fun, addictive gameplay, i just wish for a PVP mode and a rebalance, other than that, i give this a 9/10 and is one of my personal favourites of 2024, works great on steam deck too......
So, i have played for the last 10 hours on steamdeck, its an incredibly fun game and winning feels very earned.
In fact, in many cases a more "optimized" build where you do get decent synergy will also not be enough to win you a run.
