Although RNG can screw you over and make a run much harder than it should be, this also increases the replayability due to the various combinations of weapons and upgrades you can get.
AUDIO: Good set of distinct sound effects and a phenomenal soundtrack that dynamically changes when you start fighting.

Graphics and music are probably the nicest things about it, followed by tight controls - but the rest is just uninspired.
There is a big variety of weapons and items, as well as upgrading of your character.
My first time through on the multi-life, intermediate difficulty took me about 6 hours, much of which was spent on the 2nd to last level, where there is in my opinion a huge difficulty curve.
