I also wish I could break down the individual characters of a word (a la Pleco), but I do recognize that that's a bigger, less feasible ask.
Now, a few words about graphics - game doesn't look bad, I like its art style.
In both packs I have (Norwegian and Finnish) the voice acting was good, and the pronunciation was clear.
I wouldn't even mind paying for some substantial expansions/DLC following the current price model.
