Arctic Eggs

eggs as existential, surrealist, absurd questions with no true answer. a few characters, sprinkled throughout, ask this question with varying results of "what if...?"

and "do you really want an answer" that feels very relevant given the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of an arctic base with soldiers openly carrying rifles and everyone smoking while being governed by some no-council, "all-knowing" being. the setting here is done perfectly, the writing fits, and the gameplay: simple, unique, and barely outstays its welcome!

The soundtrack and the overall gameplay mechanics are very well done.

This along with its unashamed low-poly graphics create a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere in an otherwise dreary landscape.

Mechanically, yeah, it's a cooking game, but it's short and surprisingly fun without being too hard or bogged down in busy work.

i have to give a BIG disclaimer that i think this is best enjoyed with a controller, to be on the safe side.
