Many events in the game are pushed forward with hand drawn comic style cutscenes that are voiced and have vivid sounds, and it turns out to be a very effective way to keep the plot moving and you interested.
An adventure game with somewhat novel and interesting gameplay ideas, and a relatively simple story that nonetheless references classic literature in cool ways.
Well-paced narration loosely based on the classic (almost all Kheops titles give a nod to history or literature), not quite challenging but inventive puzzle component, well-done visuals distinctive to the adventures of that era, quality soundtrack and voice-work – all the ingredients of a game made with love, not just with a sole purpose of financial success, are here.
Wonderful score with a cinematic flair, plethora of well-executed sound effects and splendid voice-over is what you’ll find in RthMI as far as the soundscape is concerned, understated yet brilliant.
