What players think
The recurring themes across 275 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This sense of progression keeps battles engaging throughout the campaign while reinforcing the importance of tactical flexibility.
However, when you start to play Praetorians online in multiplayer mode, the game seems to be a totally new game!
The story mode is actually quite long, with like 30 or more chapters, all of them with voices and it's own story, all of it, based on real battles.
Unit visibility stays clear during combat, environmental layouts communicate important tactical information effectively, and the overall atmosphere successfully captures the feeling of commanding armies during ancient warfare.
The audio is fairly good with full voice acting that is fairly respectable.
