What players think
The recurring themes across 103 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The movement was nice and smooth, some hiccups with momentum shifting around but overall never felt limited with options and there was enough sandbox elements to approach the game however you wanted.
The story was cute, and the little bits of humor sprinkled throughout certain stages made it even more enjoyable.
In terms of positives, the sheer amount of level variety is a huge highlight, as each one feels distinct and snappy with little wasted time or obvious re-used visuals.
I can't remember the last time I played a game that actually had good voice acting, let alone in a genre like a platformer.
Co-op also adds another layer of variety to the game, and generally is just a great pickup for a few evenings of fun & reliving the same joy you'd feel playing Spryo, A Hat in Time, or Crash Bandicoot.
