What players think
The recurring themes across 226 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While the cute art style deserves attention, Angvik shines brightest through its punishing gameplay.
The art style is cute, a contradiction in regard to the game brutal difficulty.
The art is simple and controls are easy to understand (I used a controller), so it's easy to get started, but you'll be dying at about every corner as you progress.
The sound effects also work fine, adding to the readability of the graphics.
