What players think
The recurring themes across 38 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The game is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the story is engaging (although short), with the delicate theme and context it is inserted into being handled with a lot of care.
The gameplay loop was sort of classic RE with a side dose of Alan Wake, and I thought it worked well.
The puzzles are simple but elegant, the map is well designed, the music lifts the atmosphere to new heights, sound design is used to great effect, and the visual style is nostalgic but effective.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
