The builds are nice and its bite-sized runs makes it a perfect commute game, so much that I wanted to end my runs on my TV at home.
Fun PvP mode(s) truly testing your skill (I only checked Kingmaker as of now)
Underneath its retro art style, is a pretty deep game of exploration, creating a build, and running that build into a series of bosses to see how it performs.
I really like the gameplay; the loop and combos you can try out and find experimenting with different items sets and weapons is really fun in this game.
There’s a surprising amount of content, I played this casually on my Steam Deck and runs are short enough and varied enough I didn’t find myself getting bored.
Instead of adding a second map (which is cool for the story and has a nice mechanic switch to it), I would have liked more to do per map.
