Despite the fact that everyone in Arkham sounds like they are whispering through a walkie-talkie from the 1960s, the gameplay loop, tight pacing, controller integration, and story hooks are fantastic.
The Breadcrumb Trail: The narrative is doing a fantastic job so far.
The game looks great, but if you want it to look ridiculously and bleakly beautiful, install the Ultra+ Manager mod to force the graphics past the developers' comfort zone.
It's definitely a departure from the first game but it retains the incredible atmosphere, visuals and sound design.
It looks beautiful, running on the latest Unreal Engine, and runs anywhere between 54 ~60 FPs at ultra settings with DLSS enabled.
The Flex & The Polish: The performance is surprisingly well-optimized for an Unreal Engine game.
