Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
While it starts as a "four crystals" quest, the narrative is actually a brilliant subversion of a common trope that hides a dark secret in plain sight.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
The compositions are live recordings, they sound absolutely divine and Linked Horizon - Revo's band for the game - is a collective of multiple music geniuses and talents, such as the legendary composer and keyboard player Motoi Sakuraba, and composer / conductor Akira Senju (check out his work on Triangle Strategy's soundtrack, another instant Team Asano classic).

Combat
Players who bring up Combat mostly praise it.
Its unique combat mechanics, and the namesake of the series, Default and Brave, are likewise very powerful tools that I feel are almost too impactful to the overall flow of combat.
