The recurring themes across 225 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Gamers raised on fully-3D games may not like the graphics, but for what it is and what it should be compared to I liked it's simple and effective style; the terrain and units were easy to discern and therefore orient yourself on the ground and to the enemy.
-LOS mechanic which is fair, if infantry, Fixed AT are in buildings or bushes they are invisible until they fire repeatedly or are spotted by other infantry.
There are even some of the nuances of the game's systems that I still don't fully understand after quite a bit of play, but, if anything, that slight vagueness adds to the organic feel of the combat.
In other words it's easy to learn how to play the game since it only requires the use of the mouse but there are loads of variables in game that make it hard to effective right off the bat (which occurs at realistic difficult, it is definately the difficulty setting you want to stick to)
-Perfect for the busy individual with its server based turn system in multiplayer
The interface is easy to learn and you spend all your time playing the war game, not working out the controls.
