What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This game has some really cool world building, unique weapons and characters, and a very nice movement style.
Other than that, the game is pretty fun and it has some decent replayability.
Each level represents a different dimension, and each dimension is incredibly diverse but fits coherently into the whole story.
Graphics are low fidelity, but everything is very readable, and each area and the creatures of them have very distinct visual tone.
At one point you fight your way through a murder-rave-party complete with thumping Matrix soundtrack and in context this makes total sense.
This game has an incredibly interesting and cool charm derived from its aesthetics, its character design and its many, many inspirations.
