Overall with both of these, gameplay wise there definitely in my top 5 when it comes to mechanics and how the levels and hub are structured, as i like to 100% these games and the less time spent replaying levels for minikits the better.
The collection does have better lighting alongside some DLC characters and slightly improved character selection, hints and tooltips about what abilities characters has.
I played this on Steam Deck and can honestly say it feels a lot more stable and performs better.
For fans of LEGO games, Harry Potter, or family-friendly co-op adventures, this collection is a magical fit and one of the best examples of how to adapt a beloved franchise into interactive form.
Sound effects, from spell casting to exploding bricks, are punchy and satisfying, and ambient sounds help bring Hogwarts and its surroundings to life.
