What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It starts off quite well, setting the mood by picking up right after the movie and explaining mechanics that made me think I was going to be on edge, not knowing who to trust and having an experience full of surprises.
Graphically I really liked the look, with not only the dynamic lighting/shadowing put to great use but then the shaders to enhance materials from slimy fleshy thing creatures to metals & snow & bloodpools, visually reminding me of Chronicles of Ridd!
This slight improvement gives the combat a much faster and more fluid pace, which is great because it always felt a bit cumbersome and unsatisfying in the original.
The game looks pretty good, runs very well, controls are fine and didn't have any crashes or major bugs.
The mouse and keyboard controls are fluid and there is zero input lag or mouse smoothing.
