The recurring themes across 83 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
A beautiful and compelling narrative, with writing that'll just hit you in all the right places; handdrawn visuals that could compete with the greatest artists in the Renaissance, and an ending that will absolutely stick with you until the end of time.
The Windows Paint sprites are charmingly crude, all the text is in Comic Sans, but I admire the dedication to the homemade sound effects and menu music, which made me laugh when I first opened the game.
