Backtracking is common, but it rarely feels meaningless, as new light sources, shortcuts, or narrative discoveries often recontextualize familiar spaces.
There are the occasional light fixtures and switches that can turned on to assist with lighting to help navigate through the Vesper Mansion.
The voice-acting was good and I appreciated the character’s musings on the objects you can interact with.
When you see main menu and occasionally notice such fact as every cursor movement makes piano sound, particullary in creepy but beautifull way, it gave you strong vibes about perfect thriller goin to begin. have to admit i spend couple of min just tapping main menu for it.
