What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Overall the game is full of solid mechanics with good feedback, has a satisfying flow when you understand the systems and every action feels heavy and powerful.
First of all, the game appeals to a more general audience this time, its kind of easier, you have many more options with the ammo in the weapons, and the tactical, strategic gameplay where you approached every enemy differently in Eternal is gone here.

It's a very good looking game but I feel it's perhaps a touch early for idTech to have gone to ray tracing without a fallback.
The game feels, the mechanics, gunplay, the vfx, the sound design, animation quality, everything feels amazing to control and engage with.
interesting blend of gun combat and soulslike parry system - better value on discount
