It was rebuilt on the Unity engine, which allows things like higher resolution textures, real-time directional lighting, etc., but the thing is – FATE was never about graphics.
However, I had the option to keybind more than 6 spells in the original series.
On Steam Deck, I have been playing this nearly daily.
Meaning you can equip earings in Fate 1, its way easier to import characters between the four games (it wasn't very hard to import anyway lol), the engine was changed to Unity (Modding should be easier), the map no longer breaks the game, maintains the OG Voice Acting (Old Guy for the win) and Gambling is still peak.
