Katanaut is a fast-paced action roguelite that blends science-fiction horror, demanding combat, and rewarding progression into a compelling package.
It's an addictive roguelite with killer movement, satisfying weapons, and very unforgiving foes to slaughter with said weapons.
If you’ve enjoyed games like Dead Cells, Katana Zero or other tight-action roguelites, Katanaut hits that sweet spot of difficulty + reward.
Together, the visuals and audio create a cohesive experience that consistently reinforces the game's themes of survival, isolation, and discovery.
Because I think the story and setting are interesting—unique, even; it’s just that I don’t really care about the story much in games like this.
Ambient sounds create a constant sense of unease while exploring abandoned sections of the station, and the energetic soundtrack intensifies the action whenever combat erupts.
