What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Progression is fine because the base game is fun and dynamic enough to stay entertaining, at least for the couple of rounds I play every so often.
I'm surprised the studio was able to license such a huge number of characters from a wide variety of sources, but it's great to see so many familiar names.
Unlocking cards does give some advantage but, because of the way the "lobbies" are done you are basically always pitted against other players/past players with similar collections to you so you aren't gonna get blown out by some special card you don't have unless you have similar level card.
Fun art style, etc.
Difficulty goes up when you reach a new tier, and while there are some questionable round ones from the opponents from time to time, it seems pretty fair overall.
EDIT: Officially swapping my review to positive because I have not had a crash since the new update
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
