What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I particularly like the way that the story introduced Kayto's past with his sister and Ava.
The combat system is enjoyable and quite challenging but can be modified with a difficulty slider if you're just wanting to blaze through the story or if you want an additional challenge (and are a masochist) to top off the package.
I like the system of using the spoils of war to customise and upgrade your units, and the potential for building your fleet around a variety of playstyles.
The soundtrack is refreshingly quite good, and the visuals manage to do quite well given that the game is built on Ren'Py.
The graphics are pretty decent, though at times some of the proportions are off.
