What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The core gameplay revolves around controlling territories, recruiting armies, managing population growth, and expanding influence across historical or fictional maps.
The game let's you unlock or buy extra maps different from the 2 free ones the game has, some are community made and some are made by developers as paid dlc, u can also import your own maps from the web if u can find any which is nice.
The game also has some really cool linked economic features such as happiness, growth and taxes, and I actually have a lot of fun trying to maximize my long term growth, while still expanding against unwary targets, trying to fight wars I can actually win, recruiting enough troops, and not ending up with my entire nation in revolt.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
