What players think
The recurring themes across 289 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Choice of the Deathless is a "Choose Your Own Adventure"-style gamebook with an interesting setting, a well-designed narrative structure, meaningful decisions with many different paths to choose from, and a writing style that is generally pretty good but has some peculiarities that drive me up the wall.
The narrative structure is nicely designed and feeds into engaging gameplay.
Now, I understand that the prospect of a text only, choose your own adventure game on Steam sounds mad, especially considering the current age of gaming, where titles are often harshly, and mostly unfairly, judged by how they look and how impressive their visuals are.

No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
