What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Everything from the controls, gameplay, graphics and art style, audio design, music, environments, worldbuilding, etc etc etc are all incredible.
It feels even better when you realize then game doesn't try to hold some "hardcore challenge" title and has so many cool features like items, perks and environments that make the game all the more fun and pleasing while still increasing difficulty as you keep going in the main campaign.
-The lore and story are interesting and engaging, yet vague in a way that makes sense (also the game isn't fully released so I don't expect the story and lore to be complete).
This game is the ultimate showcase of a video game that's unique and checks off so many things for a game (unique gameplay, environment, aesthetic, visuals, audio, atmosphere, genre, replayability, lore, content to grind for and challenge that is healthy for your brain).
Graphics are low-res, sound design is pretty good for what it is, and the atmosphere is great.
