The theme of WASTED feels cohesive and coherent and the AI is competent but not terribly bright (which is explained away in the lore.) The game-mechanics of WASTED are unique, varied, and interesting, but are perhaps not fully thought-out or realized in some areas.
The buzz system helps to keep the gameplay feeling fresh even after the gunplay has worn out, as these are basically buffs you can grab mid run to either help you or hurt you.
It has nice music, gorgeous Borderlands type of graphics and quite nice story and voice actors are actually really good among other things.
A funny post-apocalyptic roguelike FPS, full of light-hearted/humorous characters, cartoonish visuals, a good variety of weapons, and a unique drinking mechanic where consuming drinks you find in the wasteland, gives you different effects (some positive and some negative).
Overall this is a really enjoyable fps that was obviously made with a lot of love
The soundtrack is quite nice, and I still find the tunes catchy after 90+ hour of play.
