It's a streamlined dungeon crawling experience with some really satisfying progression and fun enemy designs.
Most of the quests are just excuses to send you back to the same dungeon again at least five times, but some do try to add a bit of humor in the flavor texts like the recurring Jester quests and the Dragon quest chain does add some interesting world building.
The graphics are lovely, although they could have maybe used some more variety in the dungeon tilesets, maybe.
Lovely dungeon synth soundtrack and artstyle, though, and I don't regret paying the admission on that front!
Pretty much just the first game but a little bigger and with some nice QOL changes and a few more classes.
