What players think
The recurring themes across 199 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It is fortunate then, that this game definitely delivers on the atmosphere, where it slowly builds up the weight of the dread the [shifting] environments places on your shoulders as you delve deeper into the subconsciousness of the trauma paitents.
The graphics are wonderful and impressive, especially considering Nevermind was made with Unity, an engine that inherently results in cold, sterile graphics, which only a few developers have managed to hide well enough.
The horror is well done, and it is made so much more with the framing device of the story of each patient and of being in their mindscapes.
The soundtrack is so good that sometimes I stopped and closed my eyes just to listen them play over and over again.
