Lots of weapons and upgrades, granted not all of them are great but all of them are fun for sure!
The game is very fast-paced in terms of progression and enemy speed.
The graphics have a great retro feel, while still being better then any 16 bit computer/console could have ever produced.
Normally these type of games come with a pumping techno soundtrack, Steredenn opted for heavy metal instead and it fits the game superbly.
Its thematic coherence, relative ease at the beginning, and challenging learning curve are a suitable introduction for people new to the genre; as well as a joy for people who regularly play shoot-em-up games.
There are multiple game modes, boss rushes, coop, and tons of replayability through the various ship archetypes, upgrades, and weapon modules (you can build into heavy rocketry, lasers, melee weapons (?!), automated drones, and more!) So what are you waiting for?!
