Surprisingly one of the most involved, satisfying golf mechanics that a video game could possibly emulate.
A good spread of difficulty and creativity when it comes to challenges and solid map design.
The plot is simple and intriguing, your money is taken, your car is incinerated, and you are compelled to do one thing and one thing only, golf.
It would be a real shame if this game does not receive an update or two with more courses and a multiplayer component because it is so well engineered and dedicated to capturing what a fight it is to learn how to golf.
Love the retro rotoscope graphics, silly challenges, genuinely gripping gameplay and fun little touches throughout.
Played with both keyboard + mouse and controller on Steam Deck, and it feels great to play on both.
