Spectacular humor/horror point and click adventure that is decidedly unique, but stands strong among the best of story games like Undertale!
The gameplay is a total slam dunk too, the minigame sections were genuinely fun and I find myself replaying them often.
I had never heard of Mesmalie until it popped up on my Steam calendar a few days before release and caught my eye with its art style, and I'm very grateful that it did.
Its charming atmosphere, music box- like soundtrack, and its surprising amount of replayability make it one of the few few point and click games that I feel was worth the money and not something I would have watched through youtube for free.
The art style and character design already made me fall in love at first sight, and I had a great time goofing around making sure to catch every single line of dialogue as well as all the different versions of running away before even entering the house.
