I like the 'modifiers' which allow you to personally tweak your gameplay experience further, rather than just Easy/Normal/Hard.
Metal Garden uses aesthetics, combat design, sound design, and indirect story telling to make the player feel insignificant.
I will say that I was surprised by just how hopeful the ending actually turns out to be.
I played on ultra graphics settings, which after some configuration ran really smoothly on 144fps.
Some mods cannot be used while others are active, yet still offer additional challenges to whichever difficulty setting you choose.
