What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This may sound like an absurd criticism in this day and age where games with pixel-art graphics are everywhere, but back in 2004, not having the latest and greatest graphics was seen as a shortcoming of the game developer rather than a design choice to complement the game's natural feel.
The gameplay, mechanics and literally everything is just like Transport Tycoon. 10 years after Transport Tycoon this game released....10!!!
"Open TTD" has all the benefits of modding and multiplayer that "Open RCT2" has.
The sound track I love, and remember even after not playing it for a few months.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
