What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Also it's the only co-op game I played that lets you see your friends' POVs on your screen as you play!
But the core gameplay loop of methodically working your way through a procedurally-generated, alien-infested space station is actually surprisingly solid and focused.
Both varieties are quite happy crawling along the floors, ceilings and walls, causing occasional hilarious (multiplayer) and/or infuriating (solo mode) sentry ricochets.
Rounds are quick enough too that every can push for "just one more," "just one more." There's enough options available to scale the difficulty, so you and your friends can set it anywhere from 'background-game-while-chatting' to 'actual challenging experience'.
There's only so much ammo for your weapons on the map, only so many repair stations, only so many bullets in the sentries, only so much beating a door can take before it's destroyed, but the enemies are INFINITE.
Atmosphere is absolutely on point, the sound design and visuals are phenomenal.
