What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
In level 1-5(and in each 5th level onward) we're introduced to the concept of mini games, which help keep gameplay varied, and shows the potential of PvZ formula, and in level 1-10 we are introduced to conveyor level, which in retrospect are probably weakest part of PvZ, but I think they work in adventure mode to encourage players to try out different plants.
The visuals and characters are very charming and have a lot of character to them.
The soundtrack is upbeat and memorable, perfectly matching the game’s lighthearted tone while still keeping you engaged in the action.
It's about PvZ1 having probably the smoothest, chillest difficulty curve, which is heavily customisable by players choice of items(plants in this case).
You don't play this game for the story, but the story is still well used to provide a basic understanding of what is happening.
