What players think
The recurring themes across 252 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Gameplay is fun, with all the different missions, enemies and elements it doesn't get boring fast
Graphics look pretty good, i've seen FAR worse Top-down shooters (Check my "Garbage Pile": https://store.steampowered.com/curator/8789891/list/44987 if you wanna see one)
It has a fairly long campaign mode to enjoy while listening to a solid metal soundtrack.
However the game has MASSIVE potential, local/internet co-op and workshop support (Levels, Chars, Weps...Total conversions maybe, mission editing and scripting) would make it a pure gem, and some fine tuning of weapons and terrain would be a godsend.
The squad system in particular makes this game stand out; wandering around as a group with various weapons can be extremely fun.
