What players think
The recurring themes across 170 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Succubus Successor offers 4 distinct areas, smooth action, varied builds, Japanese voice acting, and 50 H-scenes, with seduction directly integrated into combat, exploration, and progression.
The combat and movement felt responsive, and I always felt in control of my character (no floaty jumps or slippery controls here!) The voice acting for the main characters was pretty solid
Enemy attack frequency and damage is balanced, and is pretty easy to avoid combat with them most of the time, but the trap damage is pretty ridiculus.
The level of difficulty on normal felt challenging enough to be fun without being frustrating
The game's sound quality is impressive as well, featuring a solid background soundtrack, good sound effects, and Japanese voice acting.
The art style and sprites are excellent, with a great variety of enemies to "feed" on and very well-animated pixel art.
